Liz Preston, owner of Rosie J Designs, is the current Mrs. Bayshore NJ America 2008 and was the non-finalist swimsuit winner at the Mrs. New Jersey U.S. pageant last May. She has extensive pageant experience, not only as a contestant and title- holder, but also as a producer and judge. She and her family, along with a terrific committee, have combined their talents to produce one of the most successful local pageants in the country for the last six years, and can boast being named “Best Pageant in the State” for 5 years running in addition to having given out the most scholarship money out of any local in the country!  Liz’s success comes from being fully immersed in every aspect of pageant life, and gaining a true understanding of each individual client. As a former actress and teacher she strives to make every experience a valuable growth experience, and utilizes her education and training to help each contestant achieve HER personal best in all aspects of competition. She named the company “Rosie J” after her two grandmothers, Rose and Jay, who were both instrumental in teaching her to sew and create despite their very different personalities – Rose was spunky and a true one of a kind, while Jay was the consummate lady, always elegant and this is the basis of the Rosie J Design philosophy.
